Meet the Team

  • Evette Dunlap, MFTi

Hi, I’m an Evette Dunlap, MFT intern who graduated from North Central University with a background in Psychology and Education. I also work as a mental health counselor with the Bowery Mission that helps clients with substance abuse and severe mental illness. My goal is to provide an environment of safety and positivity, to help a client(s) gain a great perspective on achieving their goals. I mostly work with individuals, couples, and adolescents.

  • J. Anthony Jauregui, LMFT & Owner

People seek therapy for different reasons. Some people seek services in order to deal with relationship building, parenting, the death of a loved one or a past/re-occurring trauma. All reasons are valid and should be dealt with by meeting the client where he/she/they are at emotionally. I try to set forth an empathic and calming environment in order to allow the client to look inward to bring insight, motivation, accountability and self-esteem towards an improved emotional health. At the same time, I try to incorporate cultural factors as I have opened my experience as a clinician to understand different cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientation and gender.

As a follower of systemic and other theories, I enjoy looking at the all systems in one’s life, analyzing and identifying patterns in order to bring insight and awareness of one’s actions, thoughts and emotional reactivity.
